Swatches are approximately seven inches and are not an identical color representation of what you will receive when submitting a fabric order. If a precise color match is needed, please contact us prior to ordering to arrange a CFA (cutting for approval). Tie-Up Textiles runs a print-to-order business model, and CFAs allow us to best manage color and lot consistency for our architectural and interior design firm clients.

  • Sonora originated as a hand-dyed fabric. Using the Japanese art of shibori, the fabric was folded and clamped before applying pigment. This technique is known as a resist and allows only the exposed areas to absorb color. Once washed and dried, the textile was scanned and digitally manipulated to create a deconstructed repeat. 'Sonora' refers to the shortened Spanish translation of "soundwave" - la onda sonora.

  • Some products within our shop are readily available, but most are made to order. For orders received that include multiple items of varying turnaround times, the longest timing will be applied, and all items will ship together. Orders are shipped ground via UPS or USPS. Yardage orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
